For as long as we can remember we have been working to pay our bills. Sometimes working for a company we do not believe in or working on something we do not love. Why not let our hobbies earn for us? Do something that we love and still get an income.
A lot of people have realized that this is possible, they are now happy with what they are doing and can still pay the bills. Each one of us enjoys looking at something beautiful all we have to do is find out what we love doing and bring out the beauty of our hobby. One way or another someone out there will also appreciate our hobbies and also see its beauty.
For our hobbies to profit for us we will need to show or display what we have done. This is where California craft shows and fairs come in. Online you can check out the schedule of California Crafts Shows, it will give you the annual schedule, location and other information you will need. There is no more need to go around and buy newspapers in your area.
When you have selected the date and place you want to display your product. Then it will also be good to gather the basic information about the craft show that you will attend. Inquire from the event organizers how much it is to apply (if there is an application fee) and what is included with the fee if they will provide a table and chair for you.
You will also need to know if the craft show you are attending a non-juried or juried type of craft show. How do the event organizers plan to promote the show? How many vendors are expected to attend? How many attendees are expected? What are the different products being displayed? The event organizers would usually have these questions answered online but if not make sure to inquire from them.
